Last weekend we took a little trip to Mike's parents cabin. It was dark by the time we got up there and as we were driving up the road Mike asked "Do you see that light up there?" I said yes, it looks like its the cabin. We knew no one else was coming down so I started to get a little scared. So scared I made Mike call the police to come up and walk through the cabin. You know make sure no one was hiding in a closest or anything. After the police gave us the all clear we went inside to get settled in for the night and start our relaxing weekend away. It wasn't five minutes later London tripped on a rug in front of the fire place and whacked her little head on the hearth. It made me so sick I couldn't even look at it. I called for Mike and made him look at it. She cried for only a minute then she was back to her happy self.
Who would have thought that the Band Aide would be the worst part? We tried to put ice on the golf ball sized goose egg but she just wanted to eat it.
The Rug she tripped over and the hearth she whacked her head on. So after all of that it ended up being a great little get away. We took the golf cart mudding and London LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Every time a piece of mud would fly up and hit us she would start laughing so hard she would cry. It was so cute.
That sounds like so much fun! Elsie has had a huge goose egg like that! It's so sad looking huh! I got your message and monday is my nephew's birthday but how would Wednesday work for you?
ohhh that is quite the goose egg. poor girl!! I love that you made the police come, but honestly I would have done the exact same things except Les would have just walked around with a bat rather than call the police. Well, I'm glad you had a good weekend. Happy Mother's Day!
Poor girl! Good thing she's so tough - sounds like she was a trooper! I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the rest of your weekend, and that there weren't any creepy intruders in the cabin!!! I would have been freaked out too!

There are just a few things you should know About Me. The church is the most important thing in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today with out it. Which brings me to the next most important thing my family. I love being able to stay home with my sweet little London. She is so funny. She is always doing something new to make me laugh. So after the church and my family there are just a few things that I like to do in my spare time. I love to scrapbook and take pictures. I just finished my scrapbook room and i love it. I might even be a little obessed with it! In the summer Mike and I will spend most of out free time in the mountains rock climbing. We love it! I love painting my house it seams like i always have a project going on I just cant sit still. I love decorating my house. If i could have anyones job in the world it would be Candice Olsens from Devine Design (my favorite show, I love her. I am total hooked on the twilight books and mike feels abandoned. I am almost done with the last one and I think i might get depresion when I am done, but at least mike will have his wife back. Thats pretty much me!
